Acid Stomp / Acid Duck

by Robin Ball

Here comes the first release from the newly formed Memory Box label, spawned from the club night of the same name who regularly throw parties celebrating the influences of today’s electronic music scene whilst encapsulating some of the most memorable moments in time, and inviting legends and icons to play.  The Memory Box label comes from the same stable as Groovepressure, run by Robin Ball who is the main artist on this first release.  Memory Box is about keeping the Acid House culture and vibe alive so it seems fitting that the first release is dedicated to the acid sound. Acid Stomp and Back in the Dayz are homages to Acid House, whilst Acid Duck is a slice of psychedelic tech-house and Sqolch brings a more contemporary feel to the acid house sound.
