Memory Box is a project run by Robin Ball that celebrates the influences of today’s electronic music scene and encapsulates some of the most memorable moments in its time.

A Memory Box party covers the history of electronic club music, hearing its origins from the legends and luminaries whilst exploring the influences the past has on today's music and how we shape the future.

Previous explorations through the Memory Box have seen Farley Jackmaster Funk and Nightmares on Wax play the 3rd birthday; Darren Emerson play an influences set; History of the Roland TB-303 with DJ Pierre and Luke Vibert; Egyptian Lover and Greg Wilson playing a History of Electro; A Guy Called Gerald, 808 State, Saytek, Mr C and Tyree Cooper play A History Of Acid House; Tom Middleton giving a history class on both the Roland 808 and the Roland 909; A History of Bass with Pinch, Plastician and Altern-8; Fabio & Grooverider playing a Rage set; Unique 3 playing Bass, Beats & Bleeps; Justin Robertson on a classic acid house tip plus a Disco Balearica set; Renegade Soundwave and Blapps Posse dropping bass heavy house and breaks; and Mark Archer playing his warehouse rave classics.

Although Memory Box may seem an exercise in nostalgia, much of this music is as fresh and futuristic as ever

Never shy of speaking a big name, the enviably on-point Memory Box...
